Summary of Les Vieux Fourneaux
Pierrot, Mimile en Antoine zijn drie jeugdvrienden die nu rond de 70 zijn. Ze hebben begrepen dat ouder worden de enige manier is om niet dood te gaan en ze zijn vastbesloten om dat met stijl te doen. Hun reünie ter gelegenheid van de begrafenis van de vrouw van Antoine, Lucette, is van korte duur. Antoine struikelt over een brief die hem het hoofd doet verliezen. Zonder enige uitleg aan zijn vrienden vertrekt hij naar hun geboortedorp in Toscane.
